We’re long overdue for a revised 2017 Top Five Law of Attraction Podcast! I have posted previous recommendations on this blog here: https://abundantlifeinitiative.com/2014/01/02/top-10-podcasts-for-law-of-attraction-new-thought-and-life-enrichment/ and here: https://wordpress.com/post/abundantlifeinitiative.com/1650. There are some Podcasts on my prior Top Law of Attraction lists that have since stopped recording new recordings, while a few of my favorites have remained active.

  1. Everyday Attraction with Rae Zander and Heather McKay Novak. This is an excellent Podcast. In the early days, this Podcast was an hour long, but this past year has been in a 30 minute format. I thought 30 minutes was not enough, but, nope – I am still filled up with great, Law of Attraction advise and insight. Rae has the ability to break down Law of Attraction in a way that you can relate to and apply immediately in your life. This Podcast has life changing, comforting information for you and should be your first stop in your search for the perfect LOA Podcast. Check out this podcast at: http://everydayattraction.com/.
  2. Flowdreaming with Summer McStravick. This is still one of the best shows out there on manifesting the life of your dreams. Summer has some awesome products and services on her website that will coach and guide you to living your best life, right here, in the now. Check out her Podcast here: https://flowdreaming.com/podcast/.
  3. Think, Believe and Manifest with Constance Arnold. Constance Arnold has to be the hardest working inspirational life coach there is! She never ceases creating the best podcasts on Law of Attraction. She has so much wisdom and her guests are out of this world with their advice and sharing of their own life journeys. She is an absolute treat to listen to, with her southern drawl and no-nonsense advice. I download Constance’s podcasts from iTunes. Check out Constance at: http://www.fulfillingyourpurpose.com/talk-show/.
  4. Matt O’Grady’s Success Podcast (Formerly of the Matt & Phil Law of Attraction Podcast). I was sad when Phil left the show for his new life in New Mexico, but was super relieved Matt decided to keep the Podcast going. Matt has shortened the show’s run time and offers great advice on all things Law of Attraction. I’m able to download Matt’s podcast from iTunes. Check out Matt’s podcast here: http://mattogradycoaching.com/podcast-show/.
  5. Inspire Nation/Daily Inspiration-Motivation-Meditation with Michael Sandler. I started listening to Inspire Nation podcasts a couple of years ago and it was chock full of witty insight on law of attraction, positive psychology and improving your life one thought and day at a time. I listen to Inspire Nation through Google Play. Here’s more: http://inspirenationshow.com/.
  6. Daily Boost: Best Daily Motivation/Life/Career/Goal Setting/Health/Law of Attraction/Network Marketing. Daily Boost offers bite sized podcasts on law of attraction (among many other subjects), and keeps it all under 13 minutes! This show has been on since 2006 and I am able to access it through Google Play. Check out more from here: https://motivationtomove.com/podcasts/daily-boost-podcast

Hearst Castle

My photo of Hearst Castle July 2017

This summer, my husband and I decided to celebrate our fifth anniversary by visiting Hearst Castle, in San Simeon, California and it truly was a wonder to bear witness to. What appears to be an endless estate perched high up on a hill that overlooked the sea, was built during the Great Depression, during abject poverty.

IMG_20170904_093503_043

Hearst Castle, Grand Dining Room July 2017

I was struck by how Hearst was able to imagine such a kingdom, in a time when all around him was going bankrupt. There were times Hearst himself faced financial hardships, but what differentiated him from the rest of the world, was his belief that he remained affluent and abundant, even through the depression. He had an attitude of abundance and his legacy was assured, simply because he believed and imagined.

That’s the lesson for me in visiting Hearst Castle – one must keep an attitude of being wealthy, abundant, and healthy, if they are to have those attributes begin to show up (and stay) in their lives. The dips of financial wealth do not bind our future  to poverty – but a lack mentality will most certainly lock you to a fate of struggle. Do not allow negative feelings towards your today’s lack experience to color your tomorrow’s financial experiences.

Tying your worth or even your ability to generate money energy by your current bank account balance will surely keep you in a low funds lifestyle. Tying your overall health and wellbeing to today’s pain and suffering, will surely foster more future agony. I say this from a place of knowing real, true physical and emotional pain and with the authority that even with all the pain there is in this world, you can still carve out a few seconds to allow yourself to feel your way into manifesting how you truly want to feel.

Even for just a few seconds a day, hold your highest goals and thoughts in your heart and mind – to begin the paradigm shift needed to change course to your right direction.

You must look past the current circumstances and how you do this is by setting goals, creating and saying affirmations daily, and taking action steps in the general direction you’re trying to go. As with any change in life, initially there will be evidence of struggle and at times chaos, but in time, as your thoughts begin to purify from lack-filled ruminations to ones of abundance, your life will start showing signs of change for the better.

Right or wrong, for better or for worst, Hearst held the belief he was to have and hold abundance for generations to come and guess what, that’s what he got. All you and I want in this life is to experience a colorful, abundant life. Let’s be like Hearst and know abundance is already ours for the taking.

Life’s Garden Manifestation Toolkit

We stay spiritually connected and at the helm of our manifestational process by carving out a little time each day for spiritual practice.

My own spiritual practices ground me, purges mind clutter, and helps me to get in the flow of gratitude, receiving, and co-creating with the Universe. Here’s a list of some of my manifestation tools:

Thoughts: This is the most accessible and most important manifestation tool you could ever have or hope for. Your thoughts are like a vehicle that gets you from point A, to point B. How you maintain your vehicle is how smooth or bumpy your ride will be in life. Look around at your life – all here because of your thoughts.

There’s special handling when it comes to your thoughts. Lazy handling leads to negativity permeating your daily experience. Even in the midst of hard times, we can train our mind to see the good in a situation and to focus on what we do want, versus what we don’t want. Even if we receive a negative thought, replace it with a positive equivalent. Stop staying in a complaining continuum. Complaining leaves us in a state of victimhood.

Daily Meditation: There are countless reasons to meditate, but in terms of manifestation, your mind needs quiet time so you can become acquainted with that small voice that is lovingly guiding you. I utilize YouTube for guided meditations, binaural beat videos, and nature sounds to meditate each day. Other times, I rely on silence and allow my thoughts to drift away. I meditate first thing in the morning for 10 to 20 minutes each day and it helps shape my day in a positive way.

Clear Quartz Crystal ball as a meditation tool: I use my crystal quartz crystal ball to gaze into and drift into to a trance-like meditative state. During this meditative state, I focus on what I want to manifest.

2017-04-23_20.43.26_resized

Affirmative Prayer: Any form of prayer can be powerful, but affirmative prayer multiplies the power tenfold. I practice a form of affirmative prayer called Spiritual Mind Treatments (https://csl.org/build-a-prayer). Although my spiritual affiliation is Centers for Spiritual Living, our Sister organization is Unity, and I love their definition of affirmative prayer, which is affirmative prayer “reflects the certainty that we are each being led to our highest good, despite any temporary appearances”(http://www.unity.org/prayer/what-affirmative-prayer). Spiritual mind treatments takes the begging and pleading out of prayer and compels us to act as if we already have what we desire, bringing our desires into our physical experience.

Gratitude: To be thankful for what we have signals to the Universe to send more of that which we are thankful for. Gracious thoughts easily push out negative thoughts, which is why it is a powerful and necessary tool in the manifestation toolkit.

2017-04-23 19.14.58_resized  2017-04-23 19.26.08_resized_1

Journal System: I now journal in a more systematic way, by taking a gorgeous floral binder and dividing it in the following sections: Daily log; Wins; Meditative Insights; Gratitude Log; Dialogue; and Dream Log. Some entries are two lines, while others are pages long. My dreams find their way on the pages and eventually manifested into reality.

Brain Food: I fill my YouTube and iTunes Podcast subscriptions with Law of Attraction and Inspirational shows and keep them in heavy rotation on my smart phone or iPod.

Vision board book: I took a sketchbook with thick, 80 lb pages to hold my life’s visions. There’s something so satisfying about turning the pages of my vision board book. When you need a life pick me up, a vision board is like an old friend who reminds you of all that you are capable of being and becoming.

Mini abundance crystal grid: On my desk is a little plate that holds healing crystals and stones. I will do a future blog post on how and why I use crystals in my healing and manifesting. I saw this grid for abundance on Pinterest. Featured below are two tiger’s eye stones, fool’s gold in the middle of the glass plate, two green aventurine stones, and a citrine point.

2017-04-23_19.34.34_resized

My mini abudance crystal grid, palo santo sticks and essential oil.

Affirmations:  There are millions of affirmations everywhere, but the ones that work best are specific, home grown from your own conscience, and placed in plane view to see everyday. I place mine on my bathroom mirrors and when it is time for a new affirmation, I remove the old ones and add a new Post It with new, inspirational words I’ve created.

My altar: Anyone, of any faith, can have an altar. An altar is a physical representation of what stirs the soul of the altar keeper (you). My altar sits in a corner of my bedroom and includes family photos, a dreamcatcher that has deep sentimental value, my healing crystals and hand-made totem poles, oracle cards, selenite and himilayan salt crystal candle holders. Inside the altar is painted rose-gold and stores my divination tools (sage, incense, lighters, cards, journals, etc.). 2017-04-23_20.52.01_resized (1)

Exercise: I meditate as I exercise and I visualize all my organs working beautifully, blood flowing effortlessly, muscles responding, and my body is shaping and becoming all I dreamed it could be. Exercising brings the mental and the physical together, to bring about a physical manifestation that we all desire for ourselves. It is a physical action that, if aligned with the right thoughts, can yield wonderful results.

What are some tools in your personal Manifestation toolbox?

While I Was Away…Abundance Abounds

ID-100257006

This blog post is dedicated to my generous sister, Jennifer, who lovingly blessed me with sharing her laptop computer. My computer crashed this past summer and it’s thanks to her generosity that I’m able to crank out a blog post today from the comforts of my desk at home. I love you Baby Sis and I thank you for all your love and support.

Hello! I’ve been away from my blogging community for a spell and I’m sorry I left without so much as a “goodbye” or a “see you soon.” I was on hiatus from writing and even checking my personal emails. I only had enough energy and time to care for my two teenagers and preschooler, work my insurance gig, and manage my home. This fall, I squeezed in time to work for the American River Review, a community college literary magazine, which has given me great experience in creating an award winning publication. I attended a much needed women’s spiritual retreat in the great Mendocino County in mid-September. Shortly after the retreat, an ultrasound revealed several uterine fibroid tumors and I had a revelation about the cause of my pulmonary embolism condition (more on that in another blog).

I was not compelled to push through my so-called writer’s block. Instead, I was in a space and season of self-reflection and internalization.

I’ve been attending my beloved church, Center for Spiritual Awareness (CSA) of West Sacramento (http://www.csasacramento.org/church-services.html). Reverend Georgia’s three part “Path to Wealth” series inspired me to get back on my morning inspirational routine:

Here are some podcasts I checked out while I was away:

  • Summer McStravick’s Flowdreaming September 8, 2015: How You REALLY Use Law of Attraction (https://flowdreaming.com/)
  • Summer McStravick’s Flowdreaming October 13, 2015: Creating Strong Healthy Boundaries
  • Summer McStravick’s Flowdreaming October 20, 2015 Create Easy, Smooth Energy Toward Your Goals…and Ditch that Hard Stuff!
  • Lynn Crocker’s Create Your Reality October 26, 2015 Mastering Your Habits  is the Key to Living a Healthier, Happier, and Fulfilling Life (https://createyourrealityradio.wordpress.com/author/lynncrocker/)
  • Janice Campbell’s Receive Your Life October 1, 2015 Faith in Life, Faith in Yourself (http://www.receiveyourlife.com/)

Janice Campbell’s own summertime hiatus from her podcast Receive Your Life gave me permission to take my own break. Just like her, I needed a break to focus inward and to readjust to new opportunities that were coming my way. Now, I can give renewed and invigorated energy to my blog.

The books I’m reading right now tie in nicely to the above mentioned church services and Podcasts:

A Path to Wealth by May McCarthy. CSA’s Reverend Georgia used this book as a basis for her three part series on building wealth (please see above videos). May provides a fun and easy way to strengthen your bond with God and honoring what it is you already have and what’s to come. A definite must (and easy) read. She reminds us we are stewards of God’s gifts and when we turn to our God Source, we receive all that we need to live a truly abundant life.

Giving Thanks: The Art of Tithing by Paula Langguth Ryan. True tithing comes in many forms, not just the paper money we typically think of when we are giving back. Tithe your time, heart, talent, and gifts and you will see an abundance of time, heart, talent and gifts bestowed unto you. Tithing is the spiritual currency we use to give and to receive. This is a gem of a book that takes the mystery out of true tithing.

Thank you readers and fellow bloggers for reading my blog and always being such great sources of support and inspiration for me. I’d love to hear about what you’ve been creating and manifesting in the comment box below and discuss ways we can further support each other in our quest for an abundant life.

As Easy as Manifesting School Buses

Image courtesy of School Bus Stock Photo, by Arvind Balaraman, from http://www.freedigitalphotos.net.

Children are the greatest manifestors because of their ability to see the world with new, wonder filled imagination. Their thoughts and feelings are raw and unfiltered, not (yet) tainted by doubt and worry from the adults in their lives.

Some children love cars, for others, it’s unicorns. For my four year old daughter, Ella Samone, it’s school buses. She looks forward to the day she will ride on a school bus. She pretends she’s a passenger on a school bus while I drive her to daycare. My vehicle transforms into an imaginative school bus in her imagination. She also has the uncanny ability to manifest several yellow buses rolling by her each day. I kid you not, if Ella Samone wants to see a school bus at 8 PM, she will! People gift her yellow school bus toys. Just a few weeks ago, we drove by a lot full of non-operational school buses, to Ella Samone’s delight. A long, yellow school bus rides alongside our vehicle on Interstate 80 now and then. Even in the summer or times when one doesn’t expect to see a school bus, one appears.

Ella Samone became the passenger in her mind first, she acted as if she was a passenger and soon enough, she will manifest it on the physical plane. She’s already enjoyed the creative thoughts of bringing school buses to her experience. The actual ride will be just the icing on the cupcake for her.

Ella Samone didn’t allow limiting thoughts to drown out the creative thought of seeing school buses every day. She used all her senses to imagine herself in a school bus. Adults can learn from a child’s tenacity surrounding what they draw into their experience.

We can be like the child who sees only the possibilities through vivid visualization. Our thoughts are influential, in their purest state. It is when we pile on the doubts, worries, and resentments from ourselves and others that the influential thought loses its influence. We also do not allow our minds to imagine long enough to shape a new creative thought. How do we become child like in our ability to allow our desires to remain in their unadulterated version, so that they are realized on the physical plane?

  • We have to allow the creative thought to come in and titillate our souls.
  • We have to be in a place of receiving the creative thought.
  • We have to be what it is we wish to be from that creative thought.
  • We have to celebrate both the birth and the manifestation of the creative thought. We do this by living as if it were already here.

Manifesting something as small as seeing school buses everyday is how we practice for manifesting the big castles in our lives. Look to our children for inspiration on how to be in the moment and filled with rich imagination.

Cultivating Your Spiritual Practice

Image courtesy of Spirit On Hook Displays Spiritual Body Or Purity by Stuart Miles from http://www.freedigitalphotos.net

Image courtesy of Spirit On Hook Displays Spiritual Body Or Purity by Stuart Miles from http://www.freedigitalphotos.net

There are day to day activities we do that are chockfull of spirituality. Your spiritual rituals and rhythm can be found in your chores, errands, daily commute, daily work tasks, exercising and spending time with family and friends. Oftentimes, we think of going to church, praying, and meditation as the only means to cultivating a spiritual practice. But, when we recognize how natural and easy it is to carve out a spiritual connection, the world seems abound with many spiritual growth opportunities.

Here are some ways to cultivate your day to day spiritual practices:

  • Stay on the lookout for pockets of time you can take to meditate or to think on what you’re grateful for. Book a conference room at work for you to turn down the lights and meditate. It only takes a few minutes for a mindfulness reboot. If you can’t book a room, go to your car, or do a walking meditation around the block on your breaks.
  • Download phone apps, such as Calm or Nature Meditation Sounds to have on hand to easily meditate. Or, consider creating a YouTube subscription to all of your favorite guided meditation or nature sound videos.
  • When you find yourself in a limiting or defeating thought, consider Esther Hicks/Abraham’s suggestion of the Seventeen Seconds Process where you countdown seventeen seconds as you shift your thoughts to something lighter and better serving. Rae Zander and Heather McKay Novak of Everyday Attraction Podcast’s June 5, 2015 show “The Most Powerful Alignment Practices of All Time” discuss the Seventeen Second Process in greater detail (http://www.unity.fm/episode/EverydayAttraction_060515). They sourced their information from the originator of the Seventeen Second Process, Esther Hicks/Abraham-Hicks of http://www.abraham-hicks.com/lawofattractionsource/index.php.
  • Keep Your cell phone or MP3 player full of positive, New Thought, or inspirational Podcasts to listen to on your commute. I look forward to my twenty minute drives to work thanks to the inspirational Podcasts that spark my imagination and inspire me.
  • There’s nothing more spiritually uplifting than calling an old friend to catch up on life and laughs. When you need a pick-me-up, call up a friend and be their pick-me-up.
  • Take a walk. Even a brisk, ten minute walk in the sun is enough time to get mindful and connected to your inner thoughts. Say some affirmations, think of what you’re grateful for, or, clear your mind.
  • Keep a little journal near you to capture random divine coincidences, things you are grateful for, or even ideas and sparks of interest you want to explore. Make sure its small enough to fit in your back pocket or purse so there’s no excuse to be without it.
  • Read spiritual text and holy books. Read all there is – blogs, books, memoirs, poems and journals, just to name a few. Even if you can only manage a couple of pages a day, you will gain some spiritual nourishment and insight to any give situation.
  • Let the music carry you away. What’s your favorite music genre? Why did you fall in love with that type of music? Fall in love all over again with a long lost genre you used to groove to. Spirituality can also be found in singing songs, so sing away.
  • When exercising, have inspirational Podcasts, affirmations (create your own for a powerful experience), or music that allows your mind to run free playing through your earbuds. I like combining my workouts with spiritual practice because I’m a busy lady and I need to combine my activities.
  • Play in the recesses of your mind. Daydream, get lost in your thoughts and fall in love with the Inner You.

Janice Campbell of Receive Your Life Podcast reminds us that all of us have a spiritual practice that feeds our soul and it’s up to each of us to nourish our spiritual selves everyday on her May 28, 2015 show, “Your Spiritual Practice” (http://www.unity.fm/episode/ReceiveYourLife_052815). It was Janice’s May 28th Podcast that inspired me to write this post to remind us to honor what it is that moves us and have our being.

Can you find spiritual fulfillment in the mundane, like housecleaning or your daily work duties? It doesn’t take a lot to indulge daily in what makes you spiritually connected and happy.

It is Always Your Turn to Receive God’s Good for You

Sometimes we look at others’ lives and wonder when will it be our turn to receive all the good they are receiving. The question, “When will I get… a promotion, find a job, finish college, pursue my dream career, get married, have children, travel, or ____________________(fill in the blank)?” This line of thinking and this question signals that we may be lacking understanding of the most fundamental thing we must always remember.

That one thing to remember is: It is always your turn to receive God’s Good for you. Always. Not tomorrow, not yesterday, but today, right now, this moment. You have to turn to your Good and recognize that it is already here. Your Good is literally just a new thought away, like our friend Janice Campbell of Receive Your Life (www.receiveyourlife.com) says time and time again on her Podcast show. Her May 7, 2015 show, “There Is Nothing Wrong With You” and May 14, “A Glimpse of Your Value” speaks right to this subject. She delves into how we can turn resentment into power to create and receive all that it is that we want.

Another show that gives us more insight is Everyday Attraction Podcast (everydayattraction.com). The April 24, 2015 show “Dream Big and Let It Flow” reminds us there is no waiting on our desires. You can enjoy them in the entire co-creative process – from the birth of the desire, to the physical manifestation, to the memory of experiencing it. Your desire is a desire before it’s in the physical form. “Living in Receiving – How to Get Into the Receiving mode” May 8, 2015 show describes how we have to be in “receiving mode” and to be attuned to the “divine nudges” that God pushes you towards your Greater Good. The May 15, 2015 show, “To Perceive Is to Receive” shows us how sometimes what we are looking for is right in front of us – we just have to shift our perception to actually see what’s unfolding.

Your ability or inability to receive is what is allowing or not allowing you to get what you want. Your divine time to receive is right now! You are literally just a thought away from having it. The creative thought of what you want IS having what you want, right now. Now, mix some faith, knowing and understanding of the Universal nudges placed in your mind/heart and you’ve got yourself a gift to receive in the physical form.

Recommendations and Shout Outs: Law of Attraction Podcasts

Monday, May 11, 2015 Recommendations:

The synchronicity of the Universe is bringing us right-on-the-money-and-right-on-time information from our New Thought Podcast Hosts. Is it just me, or is everyone enlightened and their messages speaking right to me? I’ve curated my favorite, recent Podcasts.

Everyday Attraction: Work Hours vs. Alignment Hours. Date of Show: April 10, 2015. Rae Zander and Heather McKay Novak. What does it feel like to be in your flow? What does it feel like to be in alignment? How do you know you are in the flow? For Rae, to feel in flow means to be in stable balance. Being in flow doesn’t mean everything is perfect, but when things happen you are able to work and interact with the contrast in a fun, engaged way. To be in alignment means to know you have a physical and non-physical entourage behind you and you always feel loved. You are in a supportive universe. Like Heather pointed out, you laugh a lot when you’re in alignment. The ladies look at work hours versus alignment hours. They delve into us being distracted by the details of life and overlooking the overall desired state of being. This is a must listen-to show. http://everydayattraction.com/

Think, Believe and Manifest Show: Think, Believe and RECEIVE. Date of Show: 4/13/2015. Constance Arnold with Dr. Brian K. Graham. Constance’s tip of the week is to be happy and grateful now in what you have now – don’t wait until you get X, Y, or Z. Be happy now. Dr. Brian K. Graham discussed how he started getting into the Law of Attraction, New Thought, Religious Science of Mind Movement. Everything we think is a prayer to the Universe. Each time we think, infuse it with emotion, we put it into motion to manifest, regardless of the thought. This is a gem of a show. Dr. Joe Vitale of the Secret! Constance Arnold with Joe Vitale. Date of show: 4/17/2015. If you’ve watched the movie The Secret, then you know who Joe Vitale is. Constance is a masterful interviewer and Joe drops beautiful jewels of wisdom that is not to be missed. http://www.fulfillingyourpurpose.com/

One of the realist shows I’ve listened to in awhile is Flowdreaming with Summer McStravick’s April 7, 2015 show, What Feeling Stuck Is Really Telling You.  We all know when we seem to be in a holding pattern, but do we know how to become unstuck? Do we even know why we are stuck? Check out Summer McStravick’s Podcast, she will not disappoint and will guide you to a new understanding of your life and where to go from here. https://flowdreaming.com/

Receive Your Life with Janice Campbell has also been a show that gives a-ha moments (time and time again). Want a better relationship with your desires? Check out Janice’s April 30, 2015 show Growing Your Garden of Desires. Janice asks the questions where do desires come from? Why do some desires manifest, while some do not? And, why do we give up on our desires? This Podcast, along with Janice’s other archived shows is where the rubber meets the road. Listen in so your desires can gain traction on the manifestational road. http://www.receiveyourlife.com/

May 11, 2015 Shout Outs:

Shout out to all the mothers of the world. In the United States, we celebrated Mother’s Day yesterday. It was beautiful seeing the outpouring of love for one’s own mother, their friends who are mothers, and their friends who have mothers. My energetic vibration was raised when I scrolled through Facebook pictures of all those who posted images of their moms, moving messages and artwork, or beautiful notes. If we could just carry that outpouring of love to other areas of our life, we’d be golden.

Your Fertile Ground: Fertilize Your Manifestational Soil

Image courtesy of Flowers Background Means Growth And Beautiful Garden, by Stuart Miles, from http://www.freedigitalphotos.net.

Image courtesy of Flowers Background Means Growth And Beautiful Garden, by Stuart Miles, from http://www.freedigitalphotos.net.

We have to fertilize our thoughts and lives with righteous seeds. Seeds that will take root, blossom and sustain all the dreams you have. To fertilize your dreams means to take time and space to feed your soul with practices and prayer. What are your fertilization methods in your own lives? Have you neglected your garden? A richly fertilized soil will produce a mighty, strong fruit continuously. Weak and neglectful tending will yield poor results.

  • Be thankful. Be thankful from the time you wake up, until the time you slip into your sheets to go to sleep. Be relentless in thanksgiving – inward and outward. Be thankful for the tiniest of details to the loftiest dreams fulfilled.
  • Pray. Pray all the time to yourself and out loud. It doesn’t have to be all pomp and circumstance, with a bible and rosary in hand (but hey, if that works for you, go for it). The Universe is listening to your prayers, so be mindful of your prayers and what you are calling into your life. The emotions in prayer are the Universal language and can move time and space. Be a relentless, praying Being.
  • Play. Have a good time doing whatever it is that feels really good. Many of us have forgotten to have fun along the way. That’s okay, you can start having fun this moment. Laugh! Allow the inner child to lead for a little while. For me, sometimes it’s writing all day. Other times, its hanging with friends. Sometimes its listening to live music, or sitting on the beach. Play! Something as simple as being playful on how you execute your day can turn the mundane into a fertile playground. Check and monitor your attitude throughout the day until you are used to having a positive disposition.
  • Meditate. Just five to ten minutes each day is a healthy dose. We make time to watch trash television, to gossip, or to play Facebook games. But, are we taking time to reboot our minds? Use one of your 10-15 work breaks to meditate. Do a walking meditation, or book a conference room to meditate, or meditate at your desk. Morning meditations are an awesome way to start the day, but don’t beat yourself up because you don’t do meditations when others deify morning mindfulness. Meditation anytime of day is fine, and some even find nighttime mindfulness to work better for them than morning time. Find a time that works for you and stick to it.
  • Generate new ideas. Are you creating and generating new ideas? Some fun ways to generate new ideas is create vision boards. I am going to try a new idea of having a book of vision boards with an 80 pound sketch pad (edit: 80 pound refers to page thickness), with themed vision board pages. Themes can include any area of my life that I’d like to view images of to support goals in those life areas. Another idea is to write out your goals and dreams in each area of your life in a journal. Scratch off what you manifest as evidence of your creative power. Driving or commuting is a great time for new ideas to pop up, so keep a recorder (on your phone or a handheld one) to easily capture those ideas that come to you.
  • Visualize. Visualization is a potent fertilizer of dreams and it’s easy to do. When you visualize states of being or desired experiences, it makes it easy for you to allow what you are visualizing to come, easy for the Universe to respond, and easy for you to receive it. Over time, you will visualize more often, and will see faster results for manifestations to blossom.
  • Claim success. As opposed to always assuming you’ll never get what you want or focusing on what you don’t want, shift your focus on claiming what you do want. Claiming success gives the Universe no choice but to give you success. So many times we shoot ourselves in the foot by second guessing ourselves, allowing negative self talk to take us a down a few notches. But, the person who claims success is usually the one that reaches success. Practice claiming the good in your life and watch it manifest sooner than you ever could imagine.
  • Be open. Your blessings may not come in the package you thought it would or should, but that doesn’t make it less of a blessing than if it came in a package you thought would be better. Remember, your job is to nurture and tend to your dreams by guiding them with affirmative directions, so if you’ve done your job, you do not need to be anxious over every single outcome that doesn’t appear favorable. Some people can see the blessing in every thing – because there really is a blessing in every circumstance. Be open to all the possibilities that come your way, letting your intuition guide you to act only on what’s in alignment with your values and desires. Being open is a person who was fired then later find a better suited job that makes them ten times more happy than the one they got fired from. The unopened person will wallow in the sadness of getting fired, whereas the one who is open to all possibilities quickly rebounds by thinking and doing things that take them to their next level. Don’t let present circumstances thwart your trajectory.
  • Be grateful. A grateful person is an abundant person. An abundant person honors the manifestational cycle by being grateful first, receiving second, and being grateful once more. Gratitude touches every positive, emotional electron in our Being. Gratitude signals to the Universe you’re grateful for what you have, and you’ll have more of that, please. To kick your manifestation into high gear, be grateful for what is here and what is yet to become. Gratitude communicates to the Universe that you recognize, acknowledge and accept the blessings that are coming to you, small or grand. Keep a gratitude journal and the things you were grateful for that day. The journal will remind you of how blessed you truly are and to see what can be added each day.

Just as the farmer tends to his apple orchards, he doesn’t see apples on his trees now, but he knows the fruits are coming. He keeps his soil fertilized and gives the trees what they need in order to flourish and grow. He handles the tending, and God handles the rest. It’s all about working in concert with the Universe. ~Your Curator of All Things Inspirational, Kimberly Jo Cooley

Synchronicity of the Universe Revisited

Synchronicity happens at the micro and macro level of our lives. I’m sure you recall the moments that seem like strange, beautiful luck, the irony of the experiences not lost on you. Do you celebrate those moments of revelation? Or, do you shrug them off? Oftentimes, we are so wrapped up in our day to day lives, we miss them.

Think about your last synchronistic experience – what was the micro level of that experience? What was the macro level and the far reaching implications of that synchronistic moment? Perhaps it was the time when everything lined up to your perfect job – a chance meeting with a friend during an interview for a job, or how you met your partner, or even how a vacation idea came to be. The examples could go on and on.

Keeping a broad perspective allows us not to be thwarted by what looks like one thing as it unfolds into something else – something that is bringing us to our Greater Good.

Keep a miracle or synchronicity journal to track these moments. We tend to forget them, so it’s a nice reminder to turn to when you need to be reminded how good God in orchestrating your good to come to you…amazing, isn’t it?

Wikipedia definition of Synchronicity:

Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events as meaningfully related, where they are unlikely to be causally related. The subject sees it as a meaningful coincidence, although the events need not be exactly simultaneous in time…The concept does not question, or compete with, the notion of causality. Instead, it maintains that just as events may be connected by a causal line, they may also be connected by meaning. A grouping of events by meaning need not have an explanation in terms of cause and effect.

Look around. See all the ways we connect? Amazing isn’t it? The Universe has the power to reach out to us and us to It, synchronized for manifesting connections. If it’s too far fetched for you to look for miracles, try, instead to look for the synchronicities in your life, those coincidences that speak to you and inform you that you’re headed in the right or wrong direction.

The virtual world is one of the endless ways we experience synchronicities. Bloggers, how does it feel to be a part of a movement? Internet surfers, how does it feel to receive all the information you could ever want instantaneously? On your terms, creating virtual connections.

In our thoughts and experiences, notice how certain themes come up at the same time, again and again. It is no coincidence – we are all connected to Divine Spirit and it is through this connection that we find we are all experiencing similar thoughts and occurrences, almost at the same time.

The phenomenon of one person writing a piece on alignment then seeing evidence of their beliefs in other written pieces, or their favorite Podcast host is talking about that very subject, or the Reverend has a sermon on it, or someone gives a book on alignment. Some would say all of that is coincidence, but I say it is much bigger – synchronicity – evidence of our connection to the Universal flow of life.

The Universal Flow sends us synchronicities to show us we’re on a Divine Path and in sync with the Universe and its Inhabitants.

Have you ever noticed coincidences around a particular experience? Did you choose to ignore those synchronicities? Or, did you recognize a pattern, that caused you to look outside and within?
